WordPress.com raises the alert on security with some dizzying figures. Its Web Application Firewall (WAF) has blocked close to 12,000 requests per second of unwanted or malicious traffic in the last twelve months, in addition to 165 requests per second linked to attempts to exploit vulnerabilities.

MCP for AI, now enabled in WordPress
The artificial intelligence team at WordPress.com is moving very quickly and has just announced a new and important milestone. It is the integration of MCP technology (Model Context Protocol), which it uses to connect any generative artificial intelligence to any software, in this case within the CMS.
