By chance I come across a text by Eduardo Manchón. I already considered him an insightful guy who explains everything well, even though communication is not exactly his field. I had read texts by him before, but this one hit the bullseye and it can surely be applied to CMS for newspapers and DXP for enterprises.

We received updated data from W3Techs regarding the market share of CMS and DXP on the Internet, that is, which are the most popular CMS in December of the year 2025 and, although there are no position changes in the top 10 CMS, we do find some interesting variations.
(more…)Headless CMS and DXP are not quite taking off for these reasons

When choosing a CMS, many parameters must be considered. One of them is undoubtedly the choice between a traditional monolithic architecture, in which backend and frontend remain an inseparable marriage, or choosing the modern headless architecture. Opting for the latter has many advantages and some drawbacks, but it seems the market has not correctly perceived those advantages or has thought that the drawbacks are too great, since at CMS MAG we do not see a strong reception for headless in Spain.
